Can Japan appeal to foreign tourists?
Traveling in Japan is fun, but problems like keikan mondai (degraded landscapes), dearth of English signage and speakers, and lack of the kind of information foreigners are interested in mean that Japan has a lot of work to do if it wants to increase the number of foreign tourists who visit.
